What is a lithophane?
A lithophane is an image hidden in a thin panel of material. From the front it looks like plain white β almost blank. But put a light behind it and your photo appears, rendered in soft light and shadow. The magic is in the thickness: thicker areas block more light (shadows), thinner areas let more through (highlights). It's a centuries-old technique, reborn with modern 3D printing.
How do LED photo panels work?
We 3D print your chosen photo as a lithophane, then mount it with an LED backlight so it glows on a shelf or wall.
